Signature: Signed with the butterfly and “imp” on the tab, bottom left
Provenance: Knoedler number verso, usually indicating a print sold directly by Whistler to the dealer; Apparent collector’s abbreviation verso in pencil, “J. Aro."; Private collection, U.S.A.; c. 1972 to David Tunick, Inc.; 2008 to Private collection, New York
Impression: Fine
Condition: Very good, a soft diagonal crease in bottom right quadrant, trimmed by Whistler nearly to the subject, thread margins all around
